Prescriptions

If you need a refill on a medication that we prescribed for you, please call the office before running out. Our surgeons are not in the office everyday and your doctor must approve medication refills. When calling for a refill please have the name of the medication, its strength, directions, and quantity. You must also have your pharmacy's phone number. Please be advised that by law there are some narcotic medications which require that the original prescription be brought to the pharmacy and may not be called in or faxed. This will require that you or a family member pick up the prescription at our office.

It is our office policy that we will not refill medications after 5:00pm, on weekends, or holidays.

Radiology Films

Due to the nature of our practice it is imperative to bring any films (x-rays, MRI’s, CT’s) and the reports associated with them to each office visit. They may be actual films or they may be on a CD-ROM. A definitive diagnosis and treatment plan cannot be determined without this. There are radiology facilities that will deliver your films to our office,  if ordered by our physicians. We will do our best to use these facilities for your convenience.

Appointments

To schedule an appointment with our neurosurgeons please call (201) 342-2550.   At the time you schedule your appointment you will be asked for the reason for the appointment, your referring doctor, your insurance information and demographic information. If you were injured at work or in a car accident we may need to obtain prior approval from your workmen’s compensation company or auto insurance company before scheduling your appointment.

Unfortunately there are times where your appointment may have to be rescheduled due to emergent surgeries.
