Neurotrama & Critical Care Services
Overview
The physicians and surgeons of NJBSC work closely with trauma surgeons and critical care specialists to offer immediate and personalized care of the injured patient. Continuous 24 hour a day call coverage by an attending neurosurgeon provides leadership in the management of patients with severe closed head injury, spinal fracture and spinal cord injuries. The goal of treatment remains to stabilize and resuscitate the patient and define a surgical and/or medical plan of care that will bring about optimal clinical outcomes.
